Mail In Ballots

If you have not yet requested your Mail In Ballot, please do so here.

The deadline for the MD Board of Elections to receive your request for a ballot using their online system is May 10, 2024 for the Presidential Primary Election. If this deadline has passed and you would like to vote a mail-in ballot, please go to the Talbot County Board of Elections (215 Bay Street in Easton). You can pick up your ballot there and either vote and return it then or take your ballot with you and return it by mail or at a ballot drop box

Talbot’s ballot drop box locations are: the Talbot County Board of Elections (215 Bay Street in Easton) and the Easton Fire House (315 Aurora Park Drive in Easton). Ballots can also be deposited inside any voting center across Talbot County on Election Day! Ballots must be mailed or dropped in a ballot drop box before 8pm on May 14!

Voting Early

Early Voting will be open Thursday, May 2, 2024 – Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 7am – 8pm at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, 315 Aurora Park Drive, Easton MD 21601

Voting On Primary Election Day

Presidential Primary Election Day is May 14, 2024 from 7am – 8pm. Talbot residents may vote at any of these locations, regardless of where they live in the county, though it is best practice to check out where you are assigned to vote!

NOTE: It is best to vote in your assigned voting center to ensure local races (such as school board races) are on your ballot. If you vote at a different location, you will receive a provisional ballot and only be able to vote in the state/federal races and your ballot will be counted after election day.

Mail In Ballots can also be deposited inside any voting center across Talbot County on Election Day! Ballots must be submitted before 8pm!
