Phil Jackson is a resident of Talbot County, a member of the Democratic Central Committee and ‘22 candidate for Talbot County Council.

Jackson works in Washington, D.C., helping government agencies reimagine digital experiences for their constituents and employees. Over the past three years, Jackson has fought hard for his community in Wye Mills to manage a failing wastewater treatment plant, chasing non-compliance and technical issues related to low flow of waste water since 2004. In this multi-year journey, he has built relationships with Talbot County, the Maryland Department of Environment, and private organizations to ensure the plant in his community is compliant and safe for the environment.

Phil is also very interested in ensuring that broadband is readily accessible to all residents and businesses in Talbot County.  For over 13 years, Jackson served as the Chief Technology Officer for Chesapeake Medical Imaging, a pioneer in delivering best-in-class radiology to the Eastern Shore and Talbot County. Broadband connectivity played a critical role in delivering these services.

Phil’s wife, Emily, is a member of the Talbot County Board of Education. Phil and Emily are both products of public education and are passionate about ensuring every student in Talbot County has access to the best educators and educational resources available.

Jackson is a woodworker, avid boater, technology enthusiast and active with his children who compete with Talbot Lacrosse, Talbot Braves and dance.  Phil and his family live in Wye Mills.
